What it is
Data doesn’t stay good forever. Data decay is a significant challenge that only grows larger with the size of the database. In fact, research from MarketingSherpa found that contact databases decay at a rate of 2.1% per month, or an annualized rate of 22.5%.
At HIPB2B, we take data quality very seriously. To deliver the most complete and up-to-date information possible, we created a unique Data Verification (DV) process. We employ a dedicated team of Data Verification Analysts who research key information for every lead we deliver, using a combination of phone calls, social media, and online research.
How It Works
Contact verification occurs after leads engage with your content but before they are delivered to you for follow-up. Our analysts make multiple attempts to reach the company associated with the lead by phone. The goal is to get verbal confirmation of the lead’s contact and company information. It works similarly to an employment verification. If the company can’t be reached (or the information can only be partially validated), the lead moves on to the research stage. Starting with LinkedIn, team members research the contact online and validated any remaining unconfirmed data.
